ONYX was tasked with studying the urban context of the neighborhood in order to design a site plan that reactivated the major intersection of Paramount and Alondra Boulevard.
The placement of each building was imperative to create a redefined ‘street-edge’ and public courtyard space at the main corner of the site.
The new 12,500 SF retail center features best practices for sustainable design and construction efficiency including several innovative design solutions.
Examples include contemporary LED lighting design integration, recycled storm water for passive landscape irrigation, and locally sourced construction materials.
