Luisa Salazar received her bachelor’s degree in Music from the Universidad de Guadalajara, but continued studies at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where she received her Master of Architecture degree. Since she’s been at ONYX, she has been working on the firm’s residential and historic preservation projects.
In her free time, Luisa plays clarinet with local, diverse groups. She has participated in several festivals and concerts around the world. It was during these trips that Luisa fell in love with architecture by getting to know different cultures and their way of interacting with the built environment. Luisa relates music to architecture by calling architecture “frozen music.”
