Kathy Buttrey’s background encompasses a variety of communications fields including marketing, journalism, graphic design and film and television production. She spent several years working at the former Los Angeles Herald-Examiner and for the Pasadena Star-News’ community newspapers honing her writing and editing skills as well as learning the tools for desktop publishing. She later put those skills to use in graphic design and healthcare marketing before segueing into architectural design business development.

When away from the computer, Kathy can be found hiking, biking, camping and, even occasionally, horseback riding.
