PRINCIPAL

Dale, a founding partner of Onyx Architects, is an award-winning designer and leads the Civic Practice Group. His portfolio includes a wide array of civic buildings, large mixed-use projects, unique preservation plans, affordable housing and for public and not-for-profit entities. Dale received his degree from the University of Nebraska, and is a member of the Los Angeles Conservancy, Pasadena Heritage, the California Redevelopment Association and Urban Land Institute. He is a licensed architect in the State of California.

When not in the office, Dale can often be found in the middle of a pick-up game of basketball with some of his best friends. It's in his blood.  His own father's reputation in the game as a great shot earned him the nickname, "Swish."
